This Weekday Finding

I'm sure many of you feel the same as I do about the week, the weekdays seems to drag on and the weekend is never long enough.  So, to help ease the time between the two I have decided to start a new section titled "This Weekday Finding."  Basically, I will give a list of 5 things each day that I feel is something you should know, an event that I am excited about, or something that is undeniably fabulous.

One trend you will notice about today's list is that the events take place a month or so away.  I'm ready for fall.  It is my favorite season.

1. The 3rd Annual Pets and Pumpkins on October 23rd from 1-5pm.  It's not for two months and I'm already planning Maggie's costume.  I can't tell what she will be yet, first I need to see if it will work out and second I don't want to give away the surprise.  Trust me it will be great!

2. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week commences September 9 and goes through until the 16th.  I am really excited about Z Spoke by Zac Posen.  How cute are the two outfits above?

3. Leather motorcycle jacket.  I want one.  I will have one.  This cutie is from Forever 21, so it's only about 34 bucks.  How can I pass up a jacket like that?

4. On this day back in 1981, Mark David Chapman was sentenced in New York to 20 years to life in prison for the murder of rock musician John Lennon.  His last bid for parole was denied in 2008.

5. Chocolate Brown hair.  I have an itch to dye my hair again.  I had it dark about this time last year and liked it, but then with summer I wanted to go lighter.  So, now I'm thinking it's time to go dark.  I was contemplating red, but then I had to face the fact that no matter what shade of red I color my hair within 2 weeks it has completely washed out.
