Over at Emily A. Clark, she asked "What kind of statement does your coffee table make? Do you use something besides an actual table? How is it styled? "
My table is an ottoman that I purchased at Target a few years back. On top I have several Marie Claire magazines, my sketch pad, and my calendar. I'm not going to lie and say that my calendar is used on a daily basis, because it's not. I go through phases with the calendar and right now it hasn't left that spot for a few days weeks. Ever since I got an iPhone and learned to sync it with Google I don't really have a need for a written calendar anymore.
It has storage space inside, which is filled with board games (yes, you see that right I am a twenty something adult who owns Operation and I do not have any children!). Every year for Christmas my parents give my sister and I a new game to add to our collections.
Also, it came with two small stools that match, one is the end table next to my couch and the other sits by my TV and acts as an extra chair for the living room.
What statement does your coffee table make?
