Jessica has been one of by best friends since Junior High, her and I have been through a lot. She moved across country with her then boyfriend (now husband) Jeremy, it has survived our crazy work/school schedules, friend drama, and so much more. So, when she asked me to be Maid of Honor in her wedding I was excited. I threw her a Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party; also helped with centerpieces, favor wrapping, and invitation stuffing.
I just knew that this wedding was going to be unforgettable - and I was right! It was held this past Saturday at the Historic Firehouse #2 in downtown Springfield. The ceremony itself was only 15 minutes long, according to the DJs, it had to be inside because of the rain, but they opened the doors and had the ceremony in front.
Afterwards, the reception was held in the same venue. We started with eating right away - we were all starved after spending the whole day setting up. It was really just one big party with a ton of dancing and some drinks. I would say it ended close to 11:30, which is a success in my book. They had a great time and honestly, I couldn't imagine two people that deserved a wonderful day than these two did.
